dealgroupmedia (UK) Ltd (dgm), the UK’s first affiliate marketing network, has made a raft of new appointments to its senior management team. The appointments are Nicky Applegarth as Director of Digital Services, Adrian Prince as IT Director, Emma Boyce as Sales Director, and Dan Cohen as Research & Strategy Director.

The appointments have come as part of a company wide restructuring following last December’s management buyout. The restructuring of the dgm is designed to create a more customer-focussed service that is more agile and responsive to customers’ overall online marketing needs.

“Nicky, Adrian, Emma and Dan bring a great deal of experience to our new senior management team, which is now structured to enable us to deliver the highest level of service to our clients,” said Carl Davis, Managing Director of dgm. “Since leading the management buyout of dgm in December I have been reviewing our processes and operations and we are confident that we now have the right people in the right places to maximise the growth potential of dgm.”

As Director of Digital Services, Applegarth will be responsible for delivering the best mix of online marketing solutions for each client, depending on their requirements. By listening closely to the clients needs dgm will respond with recommendations from across its suite of channel specialisations. Where necessary third party partners will be brought in, enabling dgm to be the sole point of contact for all of a customer’s online marketing requirements.

Boyce will be responsible for acquiring all new business. She will also be working with Applegarth to develop existing business. As Sales Director, Boyce’s role is key to achieving dgm’s growth targets for 2008.

Prince will be responsible for dgm’s technology, including all aspects of the technical delivery including setup, integration, customisation and ongoing support and development. As the IT Director, Prince’s role will be pivotal to the delivery of the responsive and holistic service offering dgm now offers it customers.

Cohen will be responsible for research and informing company strategy. As Research & Strategy Director, Cohen’s role will be pivotal in steering the new company and ensuring its strategic decision making is well informed.

The new senior management team is lead by Carl Davis, UK Managing Director, who led the recent management buyout and also includes Chris Russell-Smith who was appointed as Marketing Director in 2007.

Both Applegarth and Prince joined dgm in September 2005, Applegarth initially as an Account Director and Prince as Data Warehouse Consultant. Boyce joined dgm UK in 2006 as Head of Sales. Cohen joined in Jan 2005 as Research Manager.
