Another month has whizzed by already and it looks like the summer is finally arriving so all eyes this month are focused on the travel sector and leveraging the uplift in traffic at this time of year. Plus, Euro 2008 will soon be approaching so we expect to be running a number of incentives and promotions around this great competition, even though England are absent.

Fathers Day is also fast approaching so we have picked some key campaigns to promote at this time of year in our ‘Hot Spots’ section. From gadgets at Gizoo to robots at Red5- dgm has a campaign for you to promote this Fathers day.

We are delighted this month to have launched this brand spanking new website. This is for all stakeholders but specifically we want to use it to provide affiliates with more information regarding dgm, the affiliate team, general affiliate news and we have also launched a dgm blog!

This is very much in development so if you have any suggestions on what you would like to see included please feel free to let us know.

If you haven’t already done so, you have until June 1st to complete our survey to be in with a chance of winning an iPod touch.

Big Dug

Big Bug Campaign

BiGDUG has been established for three years with an enviable reputation for growth within the shelving industry. We are the fastest growing supplier of shelving and storage solutions in the UK, solutions suitable for both home and office use. BiGDUG offer quality products at an extremely affordable price allied to exceptional customer service. Repeat business to BiGDUG is much higher than the industry average which we feel illustrates our commitment to customer focus and service. Our 100% feedback from various internet channels confirms this dedication to quality and service.

Through the aid of an easily navigable site and simple sale process, not to mention great average order values, BiGDUG consistently maintains a top 20 position in the EPC rankings, with the latest figures showing a three month EPC average of £53.78 and more recently a 7 day EPC average of £70.01!

Our program is designed to be mutually beneficial to both parties. As our affiliate scheme produces more sales, we want our partners to see a significant financial return on their efforts and have realised this aim through industry leading incentive schemes. Incentive targets are set that should be achievable. Currently we are achieving an average conversion rate greater than 2.5% with an average order value in excess of £300. This gives you an idea of the returns you can expect if marketed energetically.

We will make every effort to be as efficient with our communications with our affiliates as we are with our customers and would be looking to pay verified conversions as soon as possible and at least as quickly as any other partner you may deal with.

We have an extremely eclectic mix of customers, 18-70 years old, no gender bias, 50/50 split B2B/B2C.

We have an extensive array of banners with or without images and all under the same corporate branding as our logo.

Optimax Logo

We are delighted to announce that Optimax has launched on the network.

Optimax is the UK’s No.1 laser eye treatment specialist. Founded in 1991 they have performed over 250,000 treatments and currently have 20 clinics nationwide. Their popularity and success enables them to offer high quality laser eye surgery from just £395 per eye and their rapid expansion plans allow them to bring affordable eye correction treatments to more locations across the UK than ever before.

The success story began when Russell Ambrose founded Optimax in response to the enthusiasm shown by London teaching hospitals about the amazing results of laser eye surgery. Optimax was one of the first private clinics to offer laser vision correction and Russell was the first Optimax patient, never having to wear glasses or contact lenses since.

Optimax offers the widest available choice of treatments with the most advanced lasers in the world. The best treatment at the best price is a winning formula; Optimax will not be beaten on quality or price.

Many vision correction clinics offer only LASIK laser eye surgery, but the range of treatments we offer at Optimax includes LASIK, Epi-LASEK, Wavefront Epi-LASEK/LASIK, Femtosecond LASIK, Implantable Contact Lenses (ICL) which includes; Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE), Clear Lens Exchange (CLE) and Prelex lenses. We also offer LASIK Wavefront and Cataract Surgery. This means they can treat almost anyone! Their commitment to quality and safety is clearly demonstrated by a £2 million investment in the latest technology over the last 12 months alone.

Optimax have an ongoing (monthly) prize draw on their site - to win Free Laser Eye Surgery, worth up to £4,500.

Getting BSI deeplinks - new datafeed

Following consultation with a number of affiliates, BSI are pleased to announce the release of a new version of their Extended Data Feed in TSV (Tab Separated Values) format. This format is simpler to manage than the XML that remains available, as it can be opened up within Microsoft Excel, OpenOffice or another spreadsheet of your choosing. It also means that you know have four types of feed you can pick up

There are 32,000+ products available in all the datafeeds, however you can pick up individual links quite simply by selecting the tick box for BSI datafeed, entering a keyword for the product you want into the Product Search box above the feeds and selecting ‘Display Products’ button.

The function only checks the ‘Description’ Field at the moment, but many standards include the BSI number in the description.

Alternatively, you can always manually deeplink to BSI by taking the href section of a standard link from dgmPro (http://www.s2d6.com/x/?x=c&z=s&v=654583) and adding &t= followed by the webpage you wish to deeplink to. i.e.
http://www.s2d6.com/x/?x=c&z=s&v=654583&t=http://www.bsi-global.com

This deeplinking functionality works on all dgmPro links with other programmes as well, but not all programmes are as simple to deeplink with so please ensure you contact the account manager if you wish to deeplink elsewhere on the programme.

Eclipse

Eclipse Logo

Eclipse new product launch!
Eclipse have refreshed their business and residential connectivity portfolios to ensure that their products perform equally well using ADSL 1 and ADSL 2+ technologies (ADSL 2+ is due later in the year)

They are also moving away from the unlimited usage model, instead using mainly inclusive usage allowances. This will enable them to provide through put speeds for their customers that are as close to the maximum that their line will support as possible.

And what’s more these new products enable customers to optimise their broadband by setting differing priority levels for the different activities they perform online, so assisting in the overall improvement of the customer line speed experience. So for example you can choose to give the highest priority to simple web browsing and emailing and none to gaming or vice versa.
