Deep Linking Instructions

It is now possible to deep link on the JD Williams campaign.

Now you are able to promote any specific products that fit in with your sites target audience. In order for you to deep link successfully, you will need to follow these steps:

Select the page/product that you would like to deep link to (as above). This can be any page – product page, shop window etc
If it is a particular product, right click the product image from the previous page and click “copy shortcut”(in Internet Explorer) or “copy link location” (In Mozilla Firefox)

Paste this code into Excel and add “&promo=6301” to the end of the link
Take the whole of this new code and add it to your link from dgmPro as the t= parameter
The whole link should now look something like this:

To link to a specific range (not a specific product), you will need to follow these steps:

Choose the specific range that you would like to promote, e.g. Accessories from the Winter Fashion range.
Then from the previous page (Winter Fashion), find the link that takes you through to the page that you want to promote (Accessories);

Hover your mouse over the image of the range that you would like to promote (Accessories)
Right click this image and “copy shortcut”(in Internet Explorer) or “copy link location” (In Mozilla Firefox)
Paste this code into Excel and add “&promo=6031” to the end of the link

Take the whole of this new code and add it to your link from dgmPro as the t= parameter

The whole link should now look something like this:
